Ingredients
1 lb. fresh crabmeat
1 large egg
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. seasoning, optional
2 tbsp mayonnaise
8 saltine crackers, crumbled
olive oil to sautéing
Preparation
1.
Add the egg, Worcestershire sauce, seasoning, mayonnaise
and mix it
2. Add crackers and the crabmeat and mix it carefully
3 .Take a large pan with ¼ inch of oil, heat it
4. Form 8 crab cakes and add them into the hot oil
5. Sauté the cakes about 3 min (each side) until golden brown
6. Take out and put the cakes on a paper towel to absorb the oil
You can serve these delicious
crab cakes with a delicious cocktail sauce as well.
Here is the recipe :
1 cup of ketchup or chilli
sauce
2 tblsp horseradish
½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste
Mix all ingredients together
in a non-metallic bowl.
